While the Shiba Inu (SHIB) dog meme cryptocurrency follows the pattern of current market indecision, its mysterious creator, a person or group who goes by the name “Ryoshi,” has been nowhere to be found.
Interestingly, crypto founder Shiba Inu, also known on Twitter as RyoshiResearch, has deleted all of his (known) online activity – including tweets about his twitter profile and all messages on his Medium page.
Mysterious messages on Medium
Amid growing community concern, a few posts have appeared on the Medium page, including a short post that reads:
“I am not important, and one day I will leave without warning. Take the SHIBA and travel upward frens.”
The second post is directed at Shytoshi Kusama, Shiba Inu’s pseudo lead developer, telling them to:
“Please don’t talk worthless nonsense. Focus on SHIB, LEASH, BONE, SHIBOSHIS, SHIBA Metaverse. Post an update as soon as possible. Don’t make people wait or guess the puzzles. Update their progress weekly. We don’t need junk burgers. Your DEV is much slower than a turtle!”
A hidden meaning behind the Twitter profile picture?
Ryoshi’s Twitter activity has still not resumed and his profile picture has been replaced with that of the Buddhist Jetsun Milarepa, a Tibetan siddha who, after becoming a murderer in his youth, turned to Buddhism and became a very accomplished disciple.
Interestingly, Ryoshi’s last tweet before his sudden disappearance was made on May 29, 2021, according to data retrieved from the Wayback Machine. According to data from the same platform, Ryoshi’s fourth and last blog (now deleted) was also published a year ago – on May 30, 2021.
Currently, SHIB is trading at $0.0000117, down 0.43% on the day and down 5.23% from seven days ago. The market capitalization of the currently 16th largest cryptocurrency according to this indicator is $6.41 billion.
