The restaurant at L’Auberge soleil in Dun-les-Places has reopened with chef Henry Vanzetto, the owner’s son

His concern not only concerned the future of this institution in the landscape of the Morvan, run by his family for several generations, but also the solution that the regulars of the place, including many workers, would find. And yet this affair was a good table at its best… she told us.

I found my customers. It’s a real pleasure. Unfortunately, I had to reduce the number of staff…

Danielle Vanzetto (Owner of The Sunny Inn)

Covertly, she had spoken of her son, Henry, a cook by trade. Probably undecided at the time, he hadn’t shown any particular wish to continue this family story. For several weeks, the cards have been reshuffled and so here is Henry Vanzetto behind the stove. And the restaurant reopened.

“I replace him behind the bar now to serve the glasses and take care of the bills,” says Danielle Vanzetto. As for his 48-year-old son, who has worked at Loiseau, in good houses in Montreal, Antibes, Paris at La Ferme des Mathurins… even if he adds a few new items to the menu, always cooking calf’s head and others traditional dishes that make the reputation of this establishment.

“I found my customers. It’s a real pleasure. Unfortunately, I had to reduce the number of staff…”, says Mrs. Blandin who will always be one with L’Auberge soleile.
