Hugo Travers was able to interview Bill Gates in a new video published last week. A passage in question, involving Elon Musk, made the principal concerned react.
“I think we started a fight between them again”, laughed Hugo Travers on his personal account. The videographer published this Friday an exceptional interview with the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates. For a little over a quarter of an hour, they discussed different themes, money, climate, but also Elon Musk, on whom the billionaire confided sincerely. When Hugo Travers asks him if he is friends with the owner of Tesla, Bill Gates retorts: “I like him, I think he does a great job, but I don’t know him very well.”

But it was another passage that animated social networks. In addition, user Sawyer Meritt isolated a passage from the interview, in which Hugo Travers invites his interlocutor to refer to a screenshot of a conversation between Bill Gates and Elon Musk, the existence of which has been confirmed by this last. In it, Elon Musk regrets that Bill Gates bet on the stock market on the fall of Tesla shares, which would be, according to him, contradictory with the desire to fight against climate change.

“Tesla has done a fantastic job, replies Bill Gates, their cars are great. I give way more money to climate change than Elon Musk or anyone else.” And to continue: “Someone betting on the stock going down is not going to hold it back or threaten it in any way”. On Twitter, Elon Musk obviously came across the excerpt in question, and commented on a simple onomatopoeia: “Sigh”.
