You already know the ephemeral terrace HO? This time, come and discover HOBA, the new place dedicated to sustainable food. Initiated by the Hasard Ludique team, this new spot and tempting food court awaits you from June 2, 2022 in the heart of the splendid Martin Luther King Park in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
Oh but what do I see, a new place dedicated to sustainable food arrives in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. A year after the discovery of HOthe ephemeral terrace overlooking the green Martin Luther King Parkthe team of Playful Chance reveals to us HOBA.
But HOBA, what is it exactly ? This is a food court with a strong ambition in terms of sustainability. His mission ? Awaken taste buds and consciences by offering, in addition to good fooda multidisciplinary programming space (conferences, screenings, podcasts, cooking classes and entertainment).
As for titillating your palate, HOBA has chosen to bring together in residence 5 chefs hired who work for more sustainability by combining carbon sobriety and waste reduction. On the menu ? Varied cuisines inspired by street food culture.
Resident Chefs :
- Bloom by Baobab Lab : canteen with Mediterranean flavors
- just ramen : Japanese street food
- The Falaf : concept of falafels revisited with flavors from around the world, and whose cooks are refugees
- Mouflet : English muffin with frenchie sauce
- Soil Semilla : Latin-vegetarian cuisine with super foods
To taste the good little dishes concocted by these committed chefs, go to Belvederethe large glazed hall perched 10m above the ground Martin Luther King Park. And right next to it, you can sunbathe in HOthe famous terrace of HOBAwith an area of 170m2.
And it’s not over ! Downstairs ? Find another space dedicated to the culinary practice and at the reflection on societal issues food-related through a rich and eclectic program. A coffee area will also be offered in this former 19th century forge, which runs along the Petite Ceinture railway line in Paris.
Behind HOBAwe therefore find the Random Chance team to whom the City of Paris has decided to entrust – for a period of 15 years – these two buildings in the 17th arrondissement which have been unoccupied for many years.
Come on, still a little patience before discovering HOBA. The public inauguration is scheduled for June 2 to 5, 2022, with a nice series of animations. Let’s go ?
