Here are the 10 cheapest starred restaurants in Europe

A few weeks ago, we had fun finding the cheapest starred restaurants in Wallonia and it was an establishment from Mons that won first place with a starter-main course-dessert menu at 30 euros all round. The experts of the webzine Chef’s Pencil went even further by dissecting the menus of more than 500 starred Europeans in search of the best plans (they compared different lunch formulas, all composed of a starter, main course, dessert menu, editor’s note) . Verdict? No need to go very far to discover starred cuisine at an affordable price. Contrary to clichés, France wins the title of the most accessible gastronomic country in Europe since 7 of the 10 most inexpensive starred restaurants in the Old Continent are located on its territory. But the golden tip is found in Spain! If you have planned trips to Europe this summer, we invite you to add these addresses to your bucket-list.
