Eric Zemmour’s lawyer files a complaint against the magazine “Closer”

Guest of BFMTV, Me Olivier Pardo reacted to the front page of people magazine which revealed that the essayist was going to “be a dad”, his adviser Sarah Knafo being pregnant according to the weekly.

“I’m going to slap them in the wallet because that’s where it hurts.” Guest of BFMTV this Friday morning, Me Olivier Pardo, lawyer for Éric Zemmour, announced that he was filing a complaint against the magazine Closer after the publication of private photos announcing the pregnancy of the closest adviser to the polemicist, Sarah Knafo. Last September, he had already filed a complaint against Paris Match who revealed their affair.

“Is everything authorized because we are in the pre-presidential campaign?” Asks the lawyer. “Eric Zemmour is not yet a candidate but let’s pretend he is, we’re not going to play on words,” he adds. For him, the publication is “without any public interest” and “without any truth”.

Me Olivier Pardo describes the revelations as Closer to be an “abject invasion of privacy” against someone who has “never put their privacy first”. “They are doing this to sell paper and make money so I will ask for damages and I will win,” says the lawyer at the microphone of BFMTV.
