It was in 2017 that the 47-year-old woman set up Passionflix with screenwriter Joany Kane and producer Jina Panebianco, reports Business Insider.
The streaming service offers romantic programs and feature films, with a strong erotic tendency, but not pornographic.
For $5.99 a month, you can find titles like Resisting Roots (starring Lou Ferrigno Jr., the son of the guy who made the Incredible Hulk in the 1970s).
Musk, who is the company’s CEO, was able to build her business with initial funding of $22 million, but she refuses to say whether her illustrious brother (who is, incidentally, the richest man in the world ) invested some money in it.

“If I say he’s an investor, then everyone says, ‘Oh, she just made her brother pay’ and if I say he didn’t invest, then you all say, ‘He doesn’t support her. not,” said the South African-Canadian-American businesswoman, who has also directed several productions available on Passionflix.
The platform, which New York Times described as a “sexy Hallmark channel,” uses a “saucy barometer” to rank its movies and series.

So you might have the choice between a film categorized “Oh so vanilla” and one categorized “your toes will twitch in delight”. It is assumed that the latter would be more dirty than the first.
Musk, however, clarified to The New York Times that the site allows erotic content, but not frontal nudity below the waistline.
