Owner, Operator, and Head Coffee Roaster
Lance has been working in the restaurant industry since he was 17. He moved to the Triangle area to help open the Maggiano’s at South Point Mall as the Account Operation Manager. He worked at the Angus Barn for nearly 14 years and was a member of the Wine Cellar staff there. He got his Court Master’s Sommelier Certification in 2011. He started Bethesda Roasting Company, a wholesale coffee roasting company (www.bethesdacoffee.com) in 2013 relying heavily on the training he received in the sommelier program to create the coffee roast profiles. Outside of work Lance also leads a cub scout pack and helps with Financial Peace University, a personal finance program.

Flavor– Lance’s qualification as a sommelier assist him in bringing out the maximum flavor from coffee and tea and pairing it with excellent food.
Service– The service of fine dining for your everyday coffee shop. We value our customers and want to create a welcoming environment where each person feels valued. We are also passionate about community and global service. We hope to bring local and global transformation through coffee and tea.
